Aston Villa, when “the clean sheet is massive”

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor claims his side his in their current lofty league position due to a good all-round team performance, and has hailed the club’s rearguard.

“The clean sheet is massive,” he said. “The lads at the back have done a great job again. We could and should have scored three or four in the first half and we had a few chances after the break too”.

“But you’ve got to give full credit to our defence for their performance. Other teams would have missed chances and been punished but our defence was solid throughout”,
Agbonlahor added.
