Aston Villa will reject a new offer from Arsenal for Ollie Watkins in the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on X that Villa manager Unai Emery wants the striker to stay.
Arsenal have had a bid for Watkins already rejected, with the North London club now ready to make a new and improved offer. However, with Villa aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and having already progressed to the Round of 16 stage in the UEFA Champions League, they are not keen on selling any of their best players.

Watkins is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is a key player for Villa. The 29-year-old England international has scored 11 goals and given nine assists in 32 matches in all competitions so far this season and found the back of the net 27 times and provided 13 assists in 53 appearances.
