Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi is set to join Everton in the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter. The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on the social networking site that El Ghazi is joining the Toffees on loan from Premier League rivals Villa.
Romano has reported that Everton will have an option to sign El Ghazi on a permanent contract at the end of the loan spell. The Netherlands international winger will stay on loan at Goodison Park until the end of the season.

El Ghazi has struggled for playing time at Villa this season. The 26-year-old has made four starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Villns so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process. The winger has scored two goals and given two assists in two Carabao Cup ties for the Villans so far this campaign.
