Athletic Bilbao want Higuain

According to a recent report from Marca, Athletic Bilbao could be interested in trying to sign Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain during the summer transfer window. With the Argentine seemingly being set to become a free agent within the next few months, and with the Old Lady aiming to bring in a few more attacking reinforcements to strengthen their push for European glory, the hope from Bilbao is that they could sneak through the back door and get Higuain on the books.

Higuain has been here, there and everywhere over the course of his career, and now, it just seems as if he’s interested in going somewhere that is going to provide him with consistent first team football. It appears as if Bilbao falls into that category but if they don’t, there are many top clubs around Europe that could kill to have a goalscorer like him in their squad next season.
