Atletico Madrid are weighing up summer bid for Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas, El Mundo Deportivo has learned.
Los Colchoneros have already signed Miguel Angel Moya from Getafe as they prepare for life without Thibaut Courtois, but they plan to add another quality goalkeeper to their ranks.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Levante star Keylor Navas has become the number one priority.
And while los Colchoneros are convinced the Costa Rican has what it takes to act as a successor to Courtois, they are hoping to lower the €10 million asking price.
However, with Navas impressing at the start of the 2014 World Cup, other top European clubs have started to take notice, meaning it won’t be easy for Atletico to lure the 27-year-old to Vicente Calderon.
After producing some stunning saves against both Uruguay and Italy, the highly rated goalkeeper is 7/2 to keep a clean sheet against England tomorrow.
