Spanish champions Atletico Madrid are weighing up double swoop for Monaco hotshots Joao Moutinho and Geoffrey Kondogbia.
Seeing as Tiago Mendes is not getting any younger and Mario Suarez nears summer exit, los Colchoneros aim to reinforce the centre of the park in the summer.
According to L’Equipe, they have been impressed with Monaco stars Joao Moutinho and Geoffrey Kondogbia, but luring the duo to Vicente Calderon will be no easy task.
Despite cutting back spending over the last year or so, Monaco may be reluctant to let their star players leave, and they will probably only consider big money proposals.
Geoffrey Kondogbia, 22, already has some La Liga experience, having made 33 league appearances for Sevilla after joining from Lens.
Meanwhile, Joao Moutinho has only played in Portugal and France so far, but he is held in high regard by a number of top European clubs, obviously including Atletico.
