Atletico Madrid forward Raul Jimenez has moved to reveal that he is almost certain to leave Vicente Calderon this summer.
The Mexico international hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth since arriving from Club America a year ago and he will probably be farmed out on loan in the summer transfer window.
After the likes of Benfica and FC Porto expressed their interest in the 24-year-old footballer, he has revealed a total of three potential destinations.
“The market only closes on 31 August. There are several options in Spain, Portugal and England,” Jimenez was quoted as saying in A Bola.
The Portuguese daily newspaper claims that Benfica lead the chase for the talented forward as they are in advanced talks with Atletico, with the Eagles hoping to sign the striker as a replacement for Lima.
Raul Jimenez, who has 8 goals in 35 outings for the Mexico national team, started mere 4 La Liga games last term, while making another 17 substitute appearances, scoring one goal.
