Atletico interested in Cavani?

According to a recent report from AS, Atletico Madrid could look into the possibility of making a move for Edinson Cavani – but only if Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell him. The Uruguayan forward is considered to be one of the best forwards in the recent history of the French club, but it’s clear to see that they have other options they’re willing to put ahead of him – namely, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. It’s no secret that Cavani is more than willing to depart the club if they believe it to be necessary, especially given the stage he’s at in his career.

It is believed that the money for such a move would come from selling Diego Costa, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Chinese Super League. Talks are still in the preliminary stages regarding any kind of substantial deal, but it’s worth keeping an eye on over the next few months.
