Atletico Madrid are keeping close tabs on Hoffenheim midfielder Roberto Firmino and Hertha Berlin forward Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
Los Colchoneros seem to be in search for attacking reinforcements and they look to add at least another quality attacker to their ranks in the January window.
According to AS, Hoffenheim hotshot Roberto Firmino is one of the first names on their hit-list.
Shortly after they had been alerted of the player’s potential, los Colchoneros watched the Brazilian in action and they have been impressed by the midfielder’s qualities.
Meanwhile, they are also looking at Hertha Berlin forward Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who has largely impressed since arriving at Hamburg on a season-long loan.
And even with Hertha chiefs denying their Bundesliga rivals had the option to turn the loan deal into permanent move, chances are that the 21-year-old will not be returning to Berlin next summer.
Atletico Madrid have enjoyed a bright start to the league campaign and they 9/1 to pip mighty Barcelona to the league title.
