Atletico Madrid are showing interest in Alex Sandro, Layvin Kurzawa and Filipe Luis, Marca can reveal.
Last summer, Los Colchoneros recruited both Guilherme Siqueira and Cristian Ansaldi to replace Filipe Luis and Emiliano Insua, but the summer signings have been pretty disappointing this term.
As a result, Diego Simeone aims to sign a new left-back in the summer transfer window, with a total of three players currently on his radar.
Atletico Madrid officials will attempt to lure Filipe Luis back to Vicente Calderon, but they won’t be too keen on matching Chelsea’s €17 million asking price for the 29-year-old footballer.
This means that FC Porto’s Alex Sandro could become their primary target, partly because his contract at Estadio do Dragao is due to expire in just over a year.
Atletico are also looking at Monaco hotshot Layvin Kurzawa, but the problem is that the 22-year-old has already been linked with a host of top European sides.
