Atletico Madrid have chosen Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas as the number one target to replace Thibaut Courtois, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Chances are that the Belgian starlet will not be staying at Vicente Calderon beyond the current season, and los Colchoneros are currently on the lookout for a perfect replacement.
And while Kiko Casilla and Miguel Angel Moya are also on their radar, Mundo Deportivo understands that Levante’s Keylor Navas is their primary target.
The Costa Rican has been in stunning form this season and with his current contract due to expire in June 2015, Levante will be forced to sell in the summer.
Navas currently has a €10 million release clause in his deal and he will only sign a contract extension if the amount is further lowered.
This is enough to suggest he is hoping to join a big club at the end of the campaign and a switch to Vicente Calderon could be on the cards.
