Portuguese newspaper Record claims that Atletico Madrid are showing interest in Schalke striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

Atletico Madrid officials are aware they might not be able to hold on to the highly rated forward and believe Schalke star Klaas Jan Huntelaar would be a perfect replacement.
The Netherlands international has proved his worth in most of the European top leagues and is still regarded as one of the most prolific strikers in world football.
Huntelaar has yet to extend his deal with Schalke that is set to expire next summer, meaning that he should be available at a cut-back price in January.
Having scored 193 goals in 291 league appearances during his entire career, it is no wonder the 29-year-old has been chosen to replace a player like Falcao.
