Competition: La Liga
Market: Atletico Madrid to win the title
Odds: 7/2 @ Coral

Atletico Madrid are now joint-top in La Liga with holders Barcelona after making up nine points in recent weeks on the Catalans. Manager Diego Simeone has enjoyed the best run of form from Atleti at a time where Barca can’t buy a win, and now the Rojiblancos could snatch the title off the defending champions given the contrast in form.

Second in the league with 76 points from 33 games, Atletico Madrid are only being kept in a runners-up spot on their head-to-head record. They have won five of their last six in the league, turning on their best in the second-half of the season than how they kicked off the campaign with a host of squad changes.

Now Atletico are settled, they are performing at a high level on a consistent basis. They have Barcelona (1st with 76 points) and Real Madrid (third with 75 points) for competition in the title race, but may fancy their chances of topping the pair of clubs with how well they’re performed of late.

Having suffered only one defeat since January, Atletico are the team to beat in the title race, while Barca have gone four games without a win, and Real Madrid’s defensive woes could still see them falling short as the season comes to a close. As a result, Coral are giving odds of 7/2 for Atletico Madrid to win the title, which would be their second league crown in three years.
