Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are hot on the trail of FC Porto starlet Andre Silva, according to Diario de Noticias.
The 20-year-old was only handed his first team debut back in January, but he quickly went on to nail down a regular starting berth at Estadio do Dragao.
His stock rose further as he got on the scoresheet in the first three matches at the start of the new season, and the Dragons now face a fight to keep hold of his services.
Diario de Noticias has learned that Atletico Madrid scouts are closely monitoring the youngster’s performances as los Colchoneros could come forward with an official proposal in the near future.
The La Liga side have established a good cooperation with FC Porto, having loaned them Oliver Torres and Diogo Jota this summer, which should make them favourites to land the talented forward if the Dragons decide to cash in on his services.
