Atletico Madrid are showing interest in Saint Etienne hotshot Kurt Zouma, according to Spanish daily AS.
Los Colchoneros have been looking at Nicolas Otamendi and Martin Demichelis as they hope to reinforce their back line in the summer, with the French youngster the latest player on their radar.
According to AS, Atletico Madrid could make a move on Zouma, but they would face a stiff competition for the player’s signature.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Bayer Leverkusen and Anzhi are all believed to be keen on the 18-year-old.
Despite his fragile age, Zouma has already made no less than 39 league appearances for les Verts, scoring 4 goals in the process.
Saint Etienne chiefs are doing everything in their power to keep hold of the talented centre-back, but it is believed they would not be able to resist a big money offer for the player who is predicted a bright future in the game.
