Atletico Madrid eyeing Rodrigo Moreno

Cadena Ser is reporting that Atletico Madrid are hot on the trail of Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno.

Los Colchoneros are well aware of the fact that La Liga rivals Barcelona plan to trigger a €100 million release clause in Antoine Griezmann’s contract and they see los Che star as a very good replacement.

Persuading Valencia to sell will be no easy task given that Rodrigo has been in excellent form this season, producing 14 goals and 7 assists in the latest La Liga campaign.

Having recently signed a new deal at Mestalla, the 27-year-old has a €120 million buy-out clause in his contract.

Rodrigo also managed to score two goals in last three appearances for the Spain national team and he stands a good chance of making the 2018 World Cup squad.
