Things are not going well for Atletico Madrid this season. Los colchoneros have been far from great and have recently slipped out of the top four and spots that bring qualification to the Champions League. One of the reasons for that is terrible attacking form from Atleti, who have failed to score in eight matches in La Liga this season.
A man that might help in that regard is not some sort of a striker, but possibly a new coach, as the media in England are suggesting Diego Simeone could lose his job for Mauricio Pochettino to swoop in.
The club could turn to the former Tottenham Hotspur boss if a change is made this summer, according to the Telegraph. They are claiming Atleti are looking to bring in Pochettino as they are monitoring his availability in case they decide to get rid of Simeone this comiing summer. It is just a question how interested Pochettino would be to return to Spain.
