According to a recent report from Marca, both James Rodriguez and Atletico Madrid are interested in the possibility of him joining the Spanish club from city rivals Real Madrid. Rodriguez is heading for the exit door at the Bernabeu after spending the last two seasons on loan with Bayern Munich, who did not commit to signing him on a permanent basis. Napoli are also believed to be very interested in acquiring his services, but have not been able to agree to a fee with Real. Also, James is apparently interested in the idea of joining forces with Diego Simeone, who is the head honcho at Atletico and has been for a quite a few years now.
Either way it seems like just a matter of time before he completes his move away from Real, which would bring an end to a spell which many fans and media members were expecting to be a lot more successful than it actually was.
