Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Luis Alberto from Lazio in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that despite signing Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese in the summer of 2021, the defending Spanish champions are still interested in Luis Alberto.
Spanish giants Atletico wanted to sign Luis Alberto from Lazio in the summer of 2021, but they did not want to pay the Serie A club €50 million as transfer fee. So, Atleti signed Argentina international De Paul instead. However, the La Liga are still interested in Luis Alberto.
Luis Alberto, a former Sevilla and Liverpool player who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has scored three goals and provided seven assists in 17 Serie A starts for Lazio so far this season. The 29-year-old has also made six appearances in the Europa League and two in the Coppa Italia so far this season.
