Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to Eurosport. The defending Spanish champions believe that Martial will become available when the transfer window opens next month and want to bring him to Spain.
La Liga club Atletico will make contact with Premier League giants United towards the end of the month to discover more about the situation of Martial and how much the Red Devils would want for him. Atletico are open to an exchange deal with United.
Martial has made two starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for United so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. The 26-year-old France international forward has made one start and one substitute appearance in the Champions League so far this season.
