German magazine Kicker has learned that Atletico Madrid are the latest high-profile club to have joined the chase for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The 26-year-old seems keen on leaving the club for greener pastures at the end of the season, with a €25 million release clause also set to come into effect.
Napoli and Arsenal are both believed to be keen on the Germany international, while Atletico Madrid have joined the race as well.
Los Colchoneros expect star player Jan Oblak to leave at the end of the season and they see Leno as a very good replacement for the Slovenian.
Having spent over seven years at Bay Arena, it is hardly surprising that the talented shot-stopper is looking for a new challenge and he is quite affordable when compared to some of the other high-quality goalkeepers.
