Atletico Madrid join chase for Javier Pastore

Spanish daily newspaper AS has suggested that Atletico Madrid are hot on the trail of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore.

The Argentine footballer is widely expected to leave the Saints in January as he has been disappointed by the lack of first team football.

And while Pastore reportedly wants to return to Italian Serie A, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid have also been showing interest in his services.

Diego Simeone is reportedly a big fan of the 28-year-old footballer and he is weighing up a January bid for his services.

Javier Pastore recently admitted he was considering his options, and it is believed that PSG would consider offers in the region of €20 million.
