Sky Sport Italia is reporting that Atletico Madrid are the latest high-profile club to have entered the race for FC Porto forward Juan Manuel Iturbe.
The talented footballer has impressed while on loan at Hellas Verona, with Europe’s top sides lining up for his signature.
And with Barcelona, Juventus, Roma and Liverpool already keen, it appears Atletico Madrid are in the mix as well.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Diego Simeone is a huge admirer of the 20-year-old and the Argentine will attempt to lure his compatriot to Vicente Calderon at the earliest opportunity.
Juan Manuel Iturbe, who hasn’t made a single start for Porto in Primeira Liga, has scored three goals in eleven Serie A matches this season.
High-flying Hellas Verona ha=ves just ended a three-match winning run in the league, having beaten Atalanta at home.
The Gialloblu play Catania away next weekend, and the Argentine is 11/4 to score anytime.
