The 26-year-old Brazilian has been attracting a lot of interest with his performances this season and he looks set for a big club move.
Granada chiefs are aware this is the best time to cash in on the player who has a €15 million release clause in his contract.
However, Atletico could face a stiff competition for the player with Italian passport, seeing that Valencia, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Benfica are also keen.
The promising defender, who scored 6 goals in 35 La Liga games this season, recently admitted that he wouldn’t be able to resist an offer from a big European club.
