Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are hot on the trail of Sevilla winger Vitolo, daily newspaper AS can reveal.
Los Colchoneros have struggled to keep up with La Liga title rivals this season and they are in the market for midfield reinforcements.
According to AS, Sevilla hotshot Vitolo has emerged as one of their primary targets and Atletico Madrid officials are already working on a summer bid.
With Luciano Vietto and Matias Kranevitter both currently on loan at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, los Colchoneros could use the duo as a makeweight in the deal.
After impressing playing for Las Palmas in the second tier of Spanish football, Vitolo continued the rich vein of form at Sevilla, scoring 16 goals in 107 La Liga matches.
The winger also helped los Rojiblancos lift three successive Europa League trophies, while scoring 3 goals in four 2018 World Cup qualifiers for the Spain national team.
