Spanish daily newspaper AS has suggested that Atletico Madrid have emerged as favourites to sign Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez.
The highly rated footballer decided to leave Barcelona and join los Boquerones last summer in search of regular playing time and that proved to be a very good career move.
The 21-year-old went on to score 14 goals in 30 La Liga outings, catching the eye of several Premier League sides in the process.
AS now claims that Atletico Madrid are ready to make a move on Sandro, provided their transfer ban is lifted ahead of the summer window.
With his release clause standing at mere €6 million, chances are the talented footballer will be leaving Malaga for greener pastures at the end of the season and it only remains to be seen where he will end up.
