El Confidencial is reporting that Atletico Madrid are readying a summer bid on Sevilla star Carlos Bacca.
Los Colchoneros seem to have come to terms with losing Diego Costa and they are on the lookout for his successor. El Confidencial has suggested that Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca is the first name on the club’s wish list.
The Colombian only joined Sevilla last summer from Club Brugge, but he has impressed to score 21 goals in 51 competitive appearances for los Rojiblancos.
With Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan outfit spending just €7 million on the player in the summer and his release clause currently standing at €30 million, they will be tempted to cash in on their star striker.
Should they fail in their attempts to lure Carlos Bacca to Vicente Calderon, Atletico Madrid officials will turn their attention to Alvaro Negredo and Ciro Immobile.
Boasting a three-point advantage at the La Liga summit with just two games to go, los Colchoneros remain 5/6 favourites for the league trophy.
