Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, accordingto 90min. De Gea is out of contract at Premier League giants United at the end of the season, and former La Liga champions Atletico want to secure his services on a free transfer next summer.
Manchester United, though, have the option to trigger a year’s extension to his deal, but no decision has been yet on the future of the 31-year-old Spain international goalkeeper. De Gea has been on the books of the Red Devils since 2011 when he moved from Atletico.
De Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has been superb for Manchester United over the years. The 31-year-old, though, has made mistakes for the Red Devils from time to time, but he remains the number one goalkeeper at Old Trafford.
