As per a report coming from ESPN, La Liga hotshots Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Nahitan Nandez.
Boca Juniors midfielder put in a series of widely impressive performances during his teams Copa Libertadores run and several of Europe’s top clubs have already expressed interest in his services.
The Italian media report that Inter Milan are holding a huge interest in Nandez whereas Atletico Madrid seem to be currently sitting in pole position for his signature.
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is believed to have made a personal enquiry over Nandez’s availability and has identified the talented Uruguayan as his top transfer priority this winter.
Nahitan Nandez is on a $25 million release clause which should not be too big of an obstacle for Atletico Madrid.
He joined Boca Juniors in 2017 from Penarol and has thus far made 30 league appearances for the Argentine heavyweights. He’s also been capped 20 times for the Uruguayan national team.
