And while their back line looks quite impressive at the moment, Diego Simeone is in the market for attacking reinforcements.
According to reports, Atletico Madrid could soon make a move on long term target Nicolas Gaitan, who should be available for €30 million.
The Argentina international has long been one of Benfica’s star performers and everything suggests he will finally leave Estadio da Luz for greener pastures at the end of the current campaign.
At the same time, Atletico Madrid will attempt to bring Diego Costa back to Vicente Calderon, with the Spaniard no longer regarded an indispensable member of the squad at Chelsea.
