Spanish striker Diego Costa has returned from Brazil where he had been waiting for his future to resolve over the past couple of months.
Chelsea forward has not played for almost 100 days after being informed he does not feature in Antonio Conte’s plans. Costa has been actively seeking a way out of Stamford Bridge with Atletico Madrid pushing to bring him back to the Spanish capital despite their ongoing transfer ban.
Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have been locked in negotiations for quite some time and the Spanish media outlet Marca is suggesting that Rojiblancos have now tabled their last offer for Costa.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly prepared to splash out €55 million upfront and additional €10 in bonuses and add-ons for the Spanish international.
The Spanish outfit is not expected to go beyond the set sum which is a deal Blues should consider given the fact Diego Costa has been deemed surplus to the requirements at Stamford Bridge.
