Atletico Madrid to go after three stars?

According to a recent report from Marca, Atletico Madrid have three specific players in mind regarding who they want to go after in the summer transfer window. Atletico have been challenging well in both domestic and European football for a few years now, but they haven’t been able to permanently usurp either Barcelona or Real Madrid from their positions of power in the Spanish game. If they’re serious about doing so, then they almost certainly need to bring in some reinforcements.

The three names on the lips of many right now are Ruben Dias, Alex Telles and Nicolas Tagliafico. Atletico are believed to be using the £64 million that they’ve taken from the sale of Lucas Hernandez in order to try and finance the deal, although there’s always the chance that they could hold out for more money.

Either way, it seems like it’s an interesting time to be an Atletico Madrid fan right now.
