According to a recent report from AS, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are still interested in making a move for Alex Telles and will do so during the summer transfer window. This possible deal has been in the pipeline for quite some time now, with Atletico admiring the versatility and overall quality of the full-back. The club have scouted him on several different occasions, and at the age of 26, he seems to just be coming into his prime. He is considered to be an ideal replacement for Filipe Luis, and Porto seem open to the idea of selling for the right price.
Alex, who was born in Brazil, has been with the Portuguese side since back in 2016 when he made the jump over from Galatasaray. He’s been playing professionally since 2011, and it certainly seems as if nothing is going to slow him down.
Telles has played his part in guiding Porto to the Champions League quarter finals this season.
