Atletico Madrid sign talented midfielder

Osasuna midfielder Juan Francisco Torres Belen is set to sign for Atletico Madrid after the two clubs reached an agreement over the transfer fee.

Atletico will pay Osasuna around €5 million for the talented midfielder, while the fee could rise to €10 million depending on his performances.

The player who turns 26 today will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with los Colchoneros, where he is expected to replace former captain Simao.

Juanfran made a real mark at Osasuna during the five years at the club, whereas he also represented Spain at numerous youth levels and a move to Atletico will give him he chance to prove his worth at the big stage.
