Atletico Madrid want Saliba

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Atletico Madrid are interested in trying to sign William Saliba in the summer.

Diego Simeone is currently believed to be a big admirer of Saiba, who is currently in the midst of a strong loan spell with Marseille. Alas, Mikel Arteta still can’t decide whether or not he wants Saliba to be part of his operation next season, especially with Ben White and Gabriel Magalhaes performing so well in the current term.

Saliba is enjoying life in France but you’d have to imagine he would, at the very least, be open to the idea of something new – even if it means never playing a game for Arsenal Football Club despite being on the books for the last few years.

Arsenal will reportedly set his price tag at £35 million but it’s not yet known whether Atletico would be willing to pay that kind of fee.
