Atletico Madrid have been keeping close tabs on at least three Serie A footballers, El Mundo Deportivo can reveal.
Los Colchoneros scouts recently attended the game between high-flying Atalanta and AC Milan, and it has now been revealed which players were in the spotlight.
El Mundo Deportivo claims that Atletico Madrid representatives made a check on Suso, Alejandro Gomez and Andrea Conti.
The Spanish winger continued the rich vein of form after the successful loan spell with Genoa, scoring 7 goals and producing 9 assists in 33 Serie A outings.
Meanwhile, Alejandro Gomez has been even more impressive in his third year at Atalanta, producing 14 goals and 10 assists in 35 starts.
Last but not least, Andrea Conti has been on fire this term, scoring 8 goals and setting up another 4 despite operating as a full-back.
It remains to be seen whether Atletico will be stepping up their interest in any of their three targets though.
