Atletico Madrid have rejected the latest offer from Napoli for Croatian full-back Sime Vrsaljko, according to Il Mattino.
The Azzurri are determined to reinforce their ranks with the 25-year-old footballer, and they reportedly submitted a €22 million proposal for his services.
At the same time, Vrsaljko was offered a four-year deal worth €2.8 million per campaign.
However, Il Mattino claims the bid was rejected as Atletico have no intention of selling the Croatian.
Vrsaljko started the last two La Liga fixtures for los Colchoneros, which could suggest he is on the road to nail down a regular starting berth.
After winning the last league games without conceding a single goal, Atletico Madrid are 19/20 to keep another clean sheet.
