Atletico Madrid are eyeing a double swoop for Inter Milan stars Mauro Icardi and Samir Handanovic, Tuttosport has revealed.
Los Colchoneros need replacements for Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois and they believe the Nerazzurri players would be great additions to the squad.
According to Tuttosport, Atletico are prepared to pay a combined fee of €30 million, while Inter are holding out for €45 million.
The initial talks have already been held with Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio and agent Beppe Bozzo flying to Madrid last Wednesday, but it remains to be seen if the two sides will manage to find an agreement.
Inter Milan officials rate both Mauro Icardi and Samir Handanovic highly, but they are willing to sacrifice them in order to raise money for new players.
The Nerazzurri were hoping to cash in on wantaway midfielder Fredy Guarin, but they have yet tor receive a concrete offer for the Colombian.
