Champions League runners up Atletico Madrid are readying bid for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, Cadena Ser can reveal.
Los Colchoneros seem determined to recruit a proven goalscorer in the summer transfer window and they have now turned their attention towards the Colombian footballer.
The latest reports suggest Atletico are ready to start the bidding at €30 million, thus moving to the front of the queue for the player’s signature.
Even though Bacca was AC Milan’s top scorer last season, it is believed that the Rossoneri are prepared to consider big money offers for his services.
The 29-year-old had enjoyed two very successful campaigns with Sevilla before moving to San Siro, bagging 34 goals in 72 La Liga fixtures.
He has since continued the rich vein of form in Italy, netting 18 times in 38 league matches, while scoring three goals as Colombia achieved a third-place finish at the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
