Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are readying summer bid for Benfica hotshot Talisca, A Bola quoted Brazilian press as saying.
It is no secret that los Colchoneros are in the market for attacking reinforcements and they seem to have decided to step up their efforts in the 21-year-old footballer.
According to A Bola, Atletico are prepared to offer up to €25 million for the highly rated footballer this summer.
Los Colchoneros have already done plenty of business with the Portuguese side as the likes of Salvio, Reyes, Roberto, Silvio, Pizzi and Siqueira all made a switch from Estadio da Luz to Vicente Calderon or vice versa.
Talisca could clearly follow in their footsteps after an excellent debut season in Portugal, having bagged 11 goals in 44 competitive appearances.
The fact that the forward suffered a major dip in form in the second part of the season does not appear to have affected Atletico’s interest in his services.
