Atletico Madrid are set for a major makeover in their attacking department this summer.
With Fernando Torres on his way out of the club and with increasing reports linking Antoine Griezmann with Barcelona switch, Atleti are looking to bolster their lines.
Spanish reports claim that the Madrid-based club are keen on Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno, adding that Atleti will be willing to offer Kevin Gameiro as a counterweight.
A swap move involving Gameiro is expected to sweeten the deal for the 27-year-old who netter 16 goals in 31 La Liga matches this season.
The Brazilian-born forward has been included in Julen Lopetegui’s 23-man World Cup squad and will be given a chance to shine for Spain in Russia this summer.
Diego Simeone is planning to field a three-man attacking line next season, according to Diario AS, with Rodrigo and Griezmann supporting Diego Costa in the centre of attack.
The idea will depend on whether Griezmann will remain at the club of course.
