According to a recent report from ESPN, Atletico Madrid forward Luis Suarez isn’t currently considering retiring from football.
The Uruguayan legend, who is now 34 years old, has been performing at the highest level across world football for many years now – but has reportedly said that he is the one who will decide when the time is right to call it a day.
He has hinted that won’t be for a few years yet, and if he stays at Atletico, that should ensure a few more years of quality football from the veteran.
Many would like to see him venture back over to the Premier League to finish what he started with Liverpool or perhaps even another club, but regardless of where he ends up, many supporters will just be happy that they get to see him play for a few more years before one of the sport’s great villains hangs up his boots for good.
