Aubameyang close to new Arsenal deal

According to a recent report from The Telegraph, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to signing a brand new deal with Arsenal after much speculation over his future.

Prior to the FA Cup Final, the expectation from many was that the result of the final could give a good indication as to what the Gabon international will choose to do next in his career. After a phenomenal two-goal performance that helped the Gunners to claim the trophy, it appears as if Auba is now leaning towards an extended stay at the Emirates.

While he could almost certainly still put in a good shift for the majority of top clubs around Europe, it seems like he has found a real home for himself in North London. Of course, rumours are all well and good, but many fans won’t feel 100% confident until this deal has been officially confirmed by all available parties – and understandably so.
