Aubameyang hints at summer exit

Saint Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang believes that the club chiefs are ready to cash in on him in the summer.

Aubameyang, 23, is enjoying the best season of his career, with top European clubs lining up for his services.

Newcastle and Tottenham are both believed to be keen on the Gabon international, who claims that Saint Etienne are prepared to sell him at the end of the season.

“The club can do good business with me and I think that they will want to sell me,” the striker told beIN Sport.

The talented forward began his professional career at AC Milan, but has spent most of his early career on loan spells at French Ligue 1 clubs.

Saint Etienne finally purchased the player’s contract in January 2012 for mere €1.8 million, and that proved to be a great deal as Aubameyang went on to score 22 goals in 41 Ligue 1 appearances.

He is now widely tipped to leave les Verts at the end of the current campaign, with English Premier League the most likely destination.
