Saint Etienne star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he would love to join Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current campaign.
The 23-year-old has been scoring goals for fun ever since he joined les Verts from Milan, and he is now looking to cash in on his impressive showings.
Aubameyang, who is second only to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Ligue 1 top goalscorer standings, hints that he could snub a move to English Premier League in favour of joining PSG.
“I am ready to join a top club,” the Gabonese striker was quoted as saying in French newspaper Le Parisien.
“PSG? Of course an eventual offer would be interesting, but I don’t know if they are really tracking me, we’ll see. In any case, it would be nice to play next to Ibrahimovic.”
Aubameyang may have failed to score in last night’s 2-2 draw against PSG, but he is heavily tipped to be one of the hottest commodities in the summer transfer market.
The player, who came through the youth ranks at AC Milan, has made a total of 78 Ligue 1 appearances for Saint Etienne, and has scored 34 goals in the process.
