Borussia Dortmund hot-shot Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has once again reiterated his desire to play for Real Madrid one day.
The 27-year-old Gabonese international striker was one of the hottest transfer stories during the summer window with the player himself admitting that French champions Paris Saint-Germain attempted to sign him.
Aubameyang said that Ligue 1 champions made contact in effort to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but adds that it all ended quickly due to their “lack of negotiating skills”.
High-flying striker has scored four goals in his three Bundesliga appearances this season and is committed to his club’s cause, but admits that Real Madrid remain his dream.
Los Blancos were believed to be monitoring the Gabonese forward during summer, but they still ended up bringing Alvaro Morata back from Juventus. Aubameyang has however expressed his admiration of Zinedine Zidane claiming he would love to realise his dream and play at Santiago Bernabeu one day.
“Real Madrid? Hopefully that day will come”, Aubameyang told French media, reports Le 10 Sport.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in excellent form last season, scoring 28 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances.
