The Daily Mirror has suggested that Premier League holders Chelsea have emerged as favourites to land Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabonese forward was ready to move last summer, but the Millionaires failed to receive a suitable offer for his services.
Aubameyang has since clashed with the club chiefs resulting in a suspension for the Stuttgart match, and it appears it is only a matter of time before he leaves for greener pastures.
According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea have been in contact with the player’s representatives and they are reportedly weighing up a January bid.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 28, has been one of world’s most prolific strikers in the past few years, bagging 96 goals in 140 Bundesliga outings.
