Tottenham Hotspur are leading the chase to sign Ghana international Andre Ayew, according to the Metro.
The North London club are set to sign the Marseille forward on a free transfer at the end of the season, when his contract with the Ligue One side expires.
Ayew began his career at the Stade Velodrome, making his debut in August 2007 and going on to make one hundred and eighty-eight appearances for the club in all competitions so far, scoring fifty-seven goals.
Aside from his Marseille career, the 25 year old racked up fifty appearances across loan spells with Lorient and Arles-Avignon.
Internationally, he has been capped sixty-two times for his country, scoring eleven goals, while he was part of the Black Stars squad for the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
Everton and Newcastle United are also eyeing Ayew’s situation, though Spurs are the front runners in the race to secure his services.
