Ayew nears Premiership move
Marseille star Andre Ayew appears set to move to English Premier League at the end of the season, Le Phoceen has suggested.
It is now clear that the Ghana star will not be offered a new deal at Stade Velodrome, meaning he will become a free agent in June.
And while his high wage demands might prove too much for some of the interested sides, his Premier League suitors have no such problems.
According to Le Phoceen, the likes of Newcastle and Everton lead the chase for the forward’s signature and are in the process of drafting official contract offers.
Both sides have experienced problems up front this term and they believe Andre Ayew would be an excellent addition to their ranks.
The 25-year-old notched 7 goals in 21 Ligue 1 outings this term, which is a pretty good return considering that he was mostly used as a left winger.
Torres set for permanent Porto stay
Atletico Madrid Oliver Torres could be staying with FC Porto beyond the current season, according to Record.
The youngster joined the Dragons on a season-long loan in the summer and he has largely impressed since arriving at Estadio do Dragao.
As a result, Porto officials are exploring the possibility of turning his loan deal into permanent move and it would appear as their Atletico Madrid counterparts are open to negotiation.
Namely, los Colchoneros are keen on full-back Alex Sandro and wouldn’t mind using Torres as a bargaining chip.
Oliver Torres, 20, has scored 6 goals and set up as many in 30 competitive outings this season, having clearly enjoyed regular playing time.
The youngster should be in the starting line-up when the Dragons host Bayern in the CL quarter-final first leg, where home win pays 9/2.
Felipe Pardo on Real Sociedad radar
Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has learned that Real Sociedad have joined the race for Sporting Braga winger Felipe Pardo.
The 24-year-old earlier caught the eye of La Liga outfits Levante and Granada, with La Real the latest side to enter the chase for his signature.
Real Sociedad appear determined to lure the winger to Anoeta at the earliest opportunity and could come forward with an official proposal in the coming weeks.
Felipe Pardo joined Sporting Braga from Deportivo Independiente Medellin some two years ago and he quickly developed into an important player at Estadio AXA.
The Colombian has managed 16 goals and 10 assists in 65 competitive appearances for the Portuguese giants.
Even if he has more than two years left on his current deal, Pardo looks set to leave Braga for greener pastures at the end of the season.
