Ayoze Perez 3/1 to score anytime against Brighton in Saturday’s Premier League contest

Competition: Premier League

Market: Ayoze Perez to score anytime

Odds: 3/1 @ Bet 365

With the chance to make it three wins in the bounce, Newcastle will travel to relegation contenders Brighton on Saturday evening.

Starting with the hosts, suffering more late heartache away at Tottenham on Tuesday, Brighton’s 1-0 loss sees Chris Hughton’s side still sat firmly at the heart of a relegation scrap. Holding just a three-point buffer over Cardiff in the race to avoid finishing 18th, the Seagulls have really started to stall at the end of the campaign. Losing their last even matches on the bounce and failing to score in nearly 650 minutes of action, Brighton have also drastically started to struggle at The Amex. Hughton’s side have lost their last three matches on the South Coast and have shipped eight goals on that losing run, including a 5-0 hammering at home to Bournemouth earlier in the month.

As for the visitors, while Brighton might be crawling over the finish line, the same cannot be said for Newcastle. Picking up a very impressive 3-1 win over Southampton last week, Rafa Benitez’s side have won their last two matches on the spin, including a 1-0 win away at Leicester a fortnight ago. One man who has really spearheaded the Magpies’ charge at the end of the season has been the form of forward Ayoze Perez. Bagging a hat-trick against the Saints last time out, the 25-year-old has now scored four goals in his last two appearances. Also scoring seven goals in his last nine Premier League outings, we’re backing Perez to enjoy another successful evening on Saturday.
